mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
paramānandaṁ mādhavaṁ śrī caitanya iśvaram
Hariḥ oṁ tat sat!
Continuing the Caitanya Lila Compilation the chapter entitled is:
Vibhīṣaṇa and Drāviḍa Brāhmaṇa Meet Lord Caitanya
Under the section: Wonderful Episode of Drāviḍa brāhmaṇa
Caitanya Maṅgala, Śeṣa-khaṇḍa 4.48
basi’ āche gaurācānda nijajana-mele
‘duyāre ke āche dekha’ govindere bole
Jayapatākā Swami: So, Vibhīṣaṇa, he went to see Lord Caitanya,
somehow he knew that the Lord had descended
but he was amazed that the Drāviḍian brāhmaṇa followed him.
Caitanya Maṅgala, Śeṣa-khaṇḍa 4.50
henakāle gelā govinda ṭoṭāra duyāra
dekhila dvāre dui brāhmaṇa-kumāra
Translation: In course of time Govinda went to the door of Ṭoṭā-gopīnātha temple and saw at the door two brāhmaṇas.
Jayapatākā Swami: So, at this Lord Caitanya was apparently at the Ṭoṭā-gopīnātha temple
and Govinda-dāsa considered King Vibhīṣaṇa to be a brāhmaṇa.
