Jayapatākā Swami: My respects to His Holiness Rādhānath Swami, Their Graces, Ambarīṣa Prabhu and Svāhā Mātājī. Today, you heard very nice appreciations of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. Lord Narasiṁhadeva in ISKCON when Śrīla Prabhupāda was sick, we used to Narasiṁhadeva prayers. In Māyāpur, we were facing different attacks, problems. So we installed Narasiṁhadeva. And after His installation, things became much more peaceful. They explain that He is teaching Prahlāda Mahārāja how to meditate. Prahlāda Mahārāja, he said, “I haven’t seen my uncle. My uncle, Hiraṇyākṣa was liberated by Varāhadeva.” So in Visakhapatnam took Narasiṁhadeva took the head of Varāhadeva and so He is Varāha-Narasiṁhadeva there. There are various Narasiṁhadevas – Narasiṁhadeva with Lakṣmī they have installed in our Delhi temple. That is the most peaceful Narasiṁha. But our Narasiṁha is Sthāṇu-Narasiṁha. He just came out of the column. He is looking where is the demon, Hiraṇyakaśipu? And He is considered the most Ugra-Narasiṁha. But after that, there were very few thieves. Lord Narasiṁhadeva, He is known to remove all the obstacles. I don’t know if there are any obstacles, but if there are, they will certainly be removed by Lord Narasiṁhadeva. So, after years of service, attempts, the temple is approaching completion. And we are trying to design and build the West Wing. In this temple there is a chandelier of the cosmos. And in the West Wing we will explain what the chandelier means. Also, all the things that Śrīla Prabhupāda wanted. So, we are all looking at the appearance of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. I came last night, I saw the wonderful altar of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. The design was truly wonderful, and Narasiṁhadeva He has a much bigger space. He is a bit cramped where He is now! So He would like to come to this temple! In the East Wing they have done a very nice arrangement for Lord Narasiṁhadeva, and by His presence all the obstacles in this temple will be removed.

Each avatāra has a particular mood and Narasiṁhadeva is ferocious, and He is looking where are the demons? Lord Caitanya and the Pañca-tattva, Their mood is how to give out the mercy, how to deliver the fallen souls. And Rādhā-Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhi, Māyāpurcandra, Their mood is also to demonstrate love and give love to the fallen souls who surrender to the Lord with Lord Caitanya’s mercy. So They are in mādhurya-rasa, Lord Caitanya in audārya-rasa and today we have Narasiṁhadeva, He is giving us transcendental protection in this temple. Haribol!

I am not repeating much because this evening His Grace Jananivāsa Prabhu will be telling the history of Narasiṁhadeva and His Grace Ambarīṣa Prabhu and Her Grace Svāhā Mātājī, they have been telling much about the glories of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. And also, Rādhānātha Swami. Rādhānātha Swami, you see the name itself tells a lot. “Rādhānātha”. Kṛṣṇa is the ‘nātha’ of Rādhā. Rādhānātha Swami is revealing to us how to serve Rādhā Kṛṣṇa. But today he also told us about Narasiṁhadeva.

We want you all to pray and do whatever you can to bring all the Deities here so we can have our maṅgala-āratis, and other āratis here. Hare Kṛṣṇa!
