How many of you understand Bengali here? How many know English? Actually, I came here to see the SMIS school drama. And hear Jananivāsa. I did not know they would ask me to speak. I spoke already in the morning. I heard the nice talk by Ambarīṣa dāsa and Svāhā devī dāsī, and His Holiness Rādhānātha Swami and Padmanābha Goswami from Vṛndāvana. Here, when I was healthier, I had the opportunity to serve Lord Narasiṁhadeva. In the morning, I would offer āratis. I was very inspired, so every year I would buy pure, pure, essential oils to bathe Lord Narasiṁhadeva. Actually, there are two varieties. If anybody wants, they can get it from our office. One variety is called aṣṭa-gandha. And then we found that in aṣṭa-gandha, they have candana and different things. But here also we get nice flower essential oil – rose, marigold, mogra, various flowers, that is puṣpa-gandha. We have few samples left from the bathing of Lord Narasiṁhadeva during Narasiṁha Caturdaśī. Actually, one time the servants of Lord Narasiṁhadeva changed His eyes into green eyes. And the pujari had a dream, why did you give Me green eyes, I have red eyes, I am angry Lord Narasiṁhadeva said. He told Jananivāsa Prabhu and he put back the red eyes.

We used to chant the Narasiṁha prayers when Śrīla Prabhupāda was sick. That became a regular custom, every morning we would chant. Actually, Lord Narasiṁhadeva liberated Hiraṇyakaśipu. And then somehow, He flew over Māyāpur. Māyāpur is known as the audārya-dhāma, land of mercy! So although Narasiṁhadeva wasn’t approachable at the place of Hiraṇyakaśipu, but of course, Prahlāda was not afraid. We saw a devotee made a Narasiṁhadeva movie, it was very nice! We watched one or two days ago. I heard they are going to show that sometime. It was very nice! Anyway, Lord Narasiṁhadeva arrived in Māyāpur in Godrumadvīpa and He was approachable by all the devas. The devas built small kuṭīras, on a hill called Devapallī. Narasiṁhadeva was on another hill called Narasiṁhapallī. So all the devas with their consorts would come and worship Lord Narasiṁhadeva. So Lord Narasiṁhadeva in Narasiṁhapallī, every Narasiṁha Caturdaśī, they would send me a full pot of prasāda. And our devotees on parikramā they go out to Narasiṁhapallī. So Lord Narasiṁha, He is connected with this dhāma. And we have heard how different devotees have had pastimes with Lord Narasiṁhadeva. Our Deities are very active. They say in Bengali ‘jāgrata’. If you pray to Them, They hear! That way many devotees’ spiritual desires are fulfilled.

Here I was saying in the morning since we have Narasiṁhadeva in the east, all the obstacles for this temple will be removed. Since I heard there is a special offer, that actually there is some opportunity to donate a door, or gate for the sevā of Lord Narasiṁhadeva. Braja Vilāsa Prabhu mentioned this is a very great opportunity. All the donations that are given, except if you donate some item, otherwise you give just a donation, half goes to the West-wing also. In the West Wing we are trying to make a Science Museum of the Vedic Planetarium. I heard there is prototype of the chandelier here. I don’t see it. Oh it is there! I heard the drama team is ready. I am also ready, I came to see them! Go on! All glories to Lord Narasiṁhadeva, All glories to Pañca-tattva, All glories to Rādhā Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhi, All glories to guru-paramparā, All glories to Lord Narasiṁhadeva!

There are unlimited opportunities to serve the Lord!
