Satyamedha Gaurāṅga dāsa: How was the mood of the devotees in Purī when Lord Caitanya and Lord Jagannātha were personally present?

Jayapatākā Swami: I translated and wrote a commentary that King Pratāparudra saw Lord Caitanya was dancing in seven parties simultaneously. And the ecstasy the different devotees felt is something very wonderful. Some devotees were feeling themselves so fallen that they would not go in front of Lord Caitanya, but He had to send devotees to bring them. Like that every devotee had a different relationship. Some devotees Lord Caitanya embraced, and others just offered obeisances. The ecstasy was something out of this world.

Premeśvarī Śrī Rādhā devī dāsī: You said we should approach the Lord with loving attitude. How to do that? What should be our prayer?

Jayapatākā Swami: Śrīla Prabhupāda was saying how we have love for Kṛṣṇa but we spread it over different things. We love our family, our state, our community, our nation, we say I am Indian, I am American, I am British, and so on. If we combine all that, that is love of Kṛṣṇa.

Mahāsundarī Gaurāṅga devī dāsī: Today I went to the Deities in Śrī Vṛndāvana and prayed for your good health if They so desire. Also I went to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s quarters and chanted some rounds and dedicated them for your health recovery. Thank you, Guru Mahārāja for coming to us in spite of your health conditions.

Jayapatākā Swami: I am glad that you are serving Kṛṣṇa Balarāma and Śrīla Prabhupāda in Vṛndāvana.

I am a little better today compared to yesterday. So I gave class. Tomorrow is His Holiness Bhakti Cāru Swami’s tirobhāva celebration.
