20211108 Śrīla Prabhupāda Tirobhāva Address to ISKCON Tirupati

mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-guruṁ dīna-tāraṇam
hariḥ oṁ tat sat

I am very happy to be here on Śrīla Prabhupāda’s tirobhāva anniversary in Tirupati. Tirupati is a sacred place, Vaikuṇṭha on earth. Śrīla Prabhupāda, he was taking Vṛndāvana, Vaikuṇṭha in the spiritual world, all over this Bhū-maṇḍala. Śrīla Prabhupāda also visited Tirupati, I have heard. And so he said, if he leaves, there is nothing to be sad about. He will stay with us in the form of his teachings in the books. He is with us, and we can still associate with him. So we should take advantage and read all the books by Śrīla Prabhupāda. They have great spiritual value. It is said if one reads even one word of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, he can get liberated. So these books of Śrīla Prabhupāda are very, very powerful. If one follows the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda, his life will be perfect. We see many people had taken to the teachings that Śrīla Prabhupāda has given in his books. This way, they got delivered. He gave us the most powerful process. Kali-yuga is very powerful. And to overcome Kali-yuga and practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness all our life is very rare. So many people are coming to Tirupati, Tirumala from outside. I am very glad that we are getting the opportunity to read Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. This way, they can achieve perfection. So, we see that Sunīti the mother of Dhruva she got delivered although she was on the śīkṣā-guru. She showed the way to look for a higher purpose, she was the vartama-pradarśaka-guru. That is sometimes knows as a śīkṣā-guru. She was taken back to Godhead. All of you try to give the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda, Bhagavad-gītā, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, to all the visitors of  Tirupati and that will be a great service and if you can study the books, then you can know Śrīla Prabhupāda. A sādhu is known by hearing about him, not by seeing him.
